Our society becomes very judgmental when it come to girls. We are judged by the clothes we wear, the friends we make, the way we speak, the way we move, the way we talk and the list never ends.And if by mistake, I happen to have a boyfriend , then that is the end of the world. People start questioning our character, upbringing and teachings. All of a sudden, the change in our relationship status from single to committed becomes the talk of the town. Parents and relatives feel ashamed just because we happen to have a boyfriend.

But the question is: Why does it matter to you if I have a boyfriend?. India is a Democratic country and it has given us freedom of choice and right to act as we wish. It's completely my choice whom I want to be with, whether I want to be single or whether I want to be with a guy, whether I want to kiss him or sleep with him. IT'S MY CHOICE.

There is nothing wrong in being with a guy. If I really like him and want to be with him, what is wrong in that? Society needs to understand that IT'S NO BIG DEAL. If guys can have girlfriends, then why can't we have boyfriends?

This harsh male dominated society needs to relax a bit and stop interfering in our lives. We are  mature and sensible enough to decide for ourselves and do not need your "EXPERT ADVICE".

So here's for the society that makes girls lives complicated: I HAVE A BOYFRIEND and I DON'T GIVE A DAMN.
