Once there was a couple named Jack and Nicki who were married since 10 years, they had beautiful twin daughter named Elie and Emily who were 6 years old. Nicki started getting unwell after giving birth to her babies. One day they decided to take a break from their daily lives and go on a vacation. They took a ship to their destination. Time played hard and their ship met with an accident. It started sinking. The emergency of the situation demaded rescue boats and hence the passengers were vacated soon. At last only these four were left on the ship and the rescue boat had space for only 3 of them. Either Jack could go with the daughters or Nicki. Jack hugged Nicki, took his daughters and jumped into the rescue boat. Nicki died and the last words they shared was “I Love You”. The other passengers on the boat started cursing Jack for being selfish and that the daughters would be needing the Mother more than the Father but he kept quite. After 5 days the ship company decided to hold a funeral for Nicki as she died in the unfortunate happening of the boat and all the other passengers were invited. Everybody felt disheartened for the loss of Nicki’s life and Jack’s selfishness. Jack came and to podium and said, “I know you people are thinking about how cruel, selfish and heartless I am for leaving my beloved wife in the sinking Boat but you don’t know the reason”. Jack showed them a piece of paper tha Nicki handed over to him minutes before the ship completely sank. The paper read- “Dear Jack, I know it is very hard for you but this is for our daughters and their future. As you know I am suffering from Cancer and won’t be alive for more than a month, I want you to take care of my daughters. If you don’t do this then think about whose going to take care of our daughters. I love you Jack and will love you even after I die. You have to do this for Elie and Emily. You have to do it for us”. All the passengers at the prayer meet were shocked and felt guilty about judging Jack wrongly. Jack added, “It is quite eay for us to assume things and blame people but you don’t ever think about the pain of that person and that’s only because BROKEN HEARTS AREN’T VISIBLE”.
