As many as 80 people who were digging the course of the Saraswati in Yamunanagar district suddenly noticed that the soil they were shovelling out from a pit was moist.

The Haryana Government was elated after they realised that water was gushing out from a pit that was being dug on the course of Saraswati in Mugulwali village of Yamunanagar district under the lost river revival plan.

They immediately started the excavation work.

The Modi government now seeks to revive the project and find the long lost Saraswati river which flowed some 4000 years ago.
