Balki. but the idea was generated on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham a Tamil Nadu-based social activist which can ahead and take stand for the menstrual hygiene in rural areas of India. In fact, Twinkle Khanna the producer of the film has written the book The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad and in that, she has included this story in it.

2. Why you need to watch?

By watching the trailer it seems that the film is all about the menstrual hygiene and it breaks the stereotypes of the society by getting them aware that periods are the normal thing and women should not ashamed of it. every woman should celebrate this womanhood and also take care of the menstrual hygiene. It also focuses that the hygiene pad should not have the tax on it. It should be the low cost so that every woman can feel the comfort. one of the fact about this film is that it is the second Bollywood movie that has been allowing to shoot inside the united nations headquarters in New York City.

3. Controversy related to padman

the film was initially decided to release on 13th April 2018 but then they announced to release it on the 26th January 2018 as it was our Republic day. This film will be releasing over 2800 screens in all over India. As Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavat faced many problems so due this the release date is on 25th January 2018 and another film Aiyaary starring Siddharth Malhotra was also releasing on the same day thus due to the clashes of this to films the Akshay Kumar announced that as these both film i.e Aiyaary and Padmavat also shows the different subjects and views thus they don't release the PADMAN on 26th January 2018. so after postponing the date now, the PADMAN will release on 9th February 2018.The poster of the PADMAN movie is also unique and appreciated by the times of India by saying it "the unique poster". PADMAN is narrated by Amitabh Bachchan. The trailer views on youtube have reached above 36 million.the song is also mesmerizing song are directed by the Amit Trivedi. In recent news, we came to know that during PADMAN promotion Akshay Kumar visits Delhi University as women marathon has been held there. Akshay Kumar waved the ABVP flag and slammed it on twitter. From these we surely came to know that Akshay Kumar really knows how to promote the films...haha...really but its true.

So in all PADMAN is really a worth watching film and it really shows us that how the menstrual hygiene has been started in India and how India revolution is done for the hygiene.
