When the most awaited trailer of the romantic saga, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil having the cast Aishwarya Rai, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan, was released, appreciations were showered.

And then the magical title track of the film, sung by Arijit Singh, was released.

Then the rumours of SRK’s cameo were making rounds but the makers chose to stay quiet about them. Also, the talk is that he will be playing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s husband where she plays a poet and her husband i.e. Shah Rukh Khan is likely to die.

So currently Karan Johar spilled some of the beans and confirmed that SRK will be a part of ADHM but didn’t confirm his role. While speaking to a live audience at the Toronto International Film Festival recently, he said, "Shah Rukh and I have an amazing working rapport. I haven’t directed a film with him in the last seven years now, but he did a scene for me recently in a film that is going to release in Diwali and after seven years when I was directing him, I realised nothing had changed. He knew exactly what I was expecting of him and I knew exactly what he was going to do. Ranbir who was the lead actor of the film turned around and said – What you guys have is like an aspiration for an actor to have with a director." Now, what’s more icing on the cake we can ask for!!

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions is scheduled to release on October 28, clashing with Shivaay starring Ajay Devgan
