Its true that people have nightmares about losing their followers on social media and the curious case of Amitabh Bachchan is enough to prove this. The superstar after losing a substantial number of followers threatened to quit twitter. The microblogging site must not have witnessed something like this before. 

Shahrukh who was earlier on the number 2 spot dethroned Big B with 3,29,44,338 followers while the megastar’s follower count remained at 3,29,02,353.

The furious actor wrote on twitter – 
 TWITTER ..!!!??  you reduced my number of followers .. !!??HAHAHAHAHAHAHA .. !! thats a joke .. time to get off from you .. thank you for the ride ..  .. there are many 'other' fish in the sea - and a lot more exciting !!

He even captioned a still from his movie HUM and tweeted –
27 YEARS of 'HUM' .. BAADDUUMMBAAAAA !!! Amazing times and most importantly the creation of the song 'Jumma Chumma' by me .. Rajni with me and Govinda .. and of course the Filmfare award !! good times .. good vibrations .. good all along (sic)," he tweeted.

Whether or not the senior Bachchan quits twitter or not is yet to see but quite a lot of his followers on twitter have surely lost sleep after hearing the news.
