Sultan: Why is Aamir Khan scared of Salman Khan?

Salman khan in a recent interview, said that there is no reason to compare or see similarity between his upcoming film Sultan and Aamir khan's Dangal, which is slated to release in December, this year. Both the actors will be seen playing the role of a wrestler in their upcoming films. Reportedly, after watching the trailer of Ali Abbas Zafar's Sultan, Aamir Khan felt that Dangal might suffer from Salman's film which is also based on wrestling. However, Salman rubbished such thoughts, saying, "Aamir is scared? He is doing Dangal and he is scared! Then why did he do Dangal? Why would Aamir be scared?"

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star, stressing on the point that both films are different, added, "Both of us knew that the two films are about wrestling. In that case, does it mean that if Shah Rukh Khan is doing a love story then I won't do it? I have heard Aamir's script (of Dangal) and it is outstanding." While Sultan is about the fall and rise of an Olympic gold medalist wrestler Sultan Ali Khan (played by Salman Khan) who goes on to make it big in the world of mixed martial arts, Aamir Khan's Dangal is a biopic. It is based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who trained his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat, both of who won medals at the Commonwealth Games. Dangal is directed by Nitesh Tiwari (Bhoothnath Returns) and stars television actress Sakshi Tanwar as Phogat's wife along with Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra who play Geeta and Babita respectively.The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star also claimed to be "a very big hearted man" as he shared his trainer for Sultan with Aamir to help the latter prepare for Dangal. Rumours are abound that the 1994 cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna, starring both the actors, will get a sequel. When asked about co-starring with Aamir, once again, for the sequel, Salman said, "I have been dying to work with Aamir for the longest time." Sultan is scheduled to release on Eid (July 8) this year while Dangal will release in the Christmas weekend on December 23, this year.
