Do you know which is the already most anticipated superhero movie of all time? Well, it sounds unbelievable but Marvel’s Black Panther has already sold more tickets than any other highest grossing superhero movie. It has been a record breaker. The expected estimates of the opening weekend are set to be $90m.
It has also gained a fair share of positive reviews resulting in 100% on Rotten Tomatoes from just 64 reviews. The movie critic Geoffrey Macnab says that the film director Ryan Coogler touches on deep areas of race and oppression keeping a steady purpose of maintaining the interest of the audience. In the LA time, they said “ a superhero movie whose characters possess integrity and dramatic heft, filled with exploits and credible crises put together in a groundbreaking reality is the model for what an involving popular entertainment must be. Perhaps something more”.
The viewers of the latest Marvel film are nervy and just can't wait. Black Panther will be in theatres on Feb 16. That seems like a lot of patience for the fans. It was also mentioned that Black Panther is striking some giant waves of the celebration of the African Culture. The 2016 film Captain America: Civil War blasted off with a perfect rating on Rotten Tomatoes but fell short by 91% with the later reviews. Comparing with Captain America it looks very early for Black Panther. It is not yet sure that there will be a big win for the Marvel Studios. But critics are very sure that it could be the most critically successful movies ever made, as regards to its 18th movie release altogether.
Black Panther is set in the fictional African nation called Wakanda and player by an African-American. This is a good blend with the ultra-advanced technology and traditional culture. The Associated Press calls Black Panther worthy of the wait. It's not absolutely risk-free but Marvel has one of the best reputations in movies and they are set to take this risk. The Toronto Sun says in a review. “ Black Panther is every bit as good as you were hoping. Actually, it's the best. An amazing screenplay from Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole enhances it beyond the limits of Marvel’s Universe”
The new king of Marvel Universe is on a continual hype and theatres are buzzing with its opening. It is remarkable that no negative reviews have been found. If it keeps the same flow, it will surely be one of the biggest February openings ever. It's only time to see it be a box office blockbuster.
