FUTURE OF INDIAN ENTERTAINMENT SEEMS BRIGHT!

Television in India is a huge industry which has thousands of programmes in many languages. But with time, the online digital entertainment is increasing now. People these days are addicted to the online media. Indians, rather than watching Indian series, choose to watch the Hollywood series, which are considered much better than our Indian ones. Like F.R.I.E.N.D.S, HIMYM, Games of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, Sherlock, Breaking Bad and more; The Indians are trying to cope up with them. Entertainment industry in India has registered an explosive growth in last two decades making it one of the fastest growing industries in India. In India the web is now established as a mass market media channel for the wealthy. There are some digital entertainment channels that are much popular than some televisions series. They are the future of the entertainment in India. We talk about every issue, be it politics, entertainment, interview and stand up comedies.
There are three digital online channels that are on the top. 

1. ALL INDIA BAKCHOD

All India Bakchod usually abbreviated and referred to as AIB is an adult Indian comedy group. The group was initially founded by Gursimran Khamba and Tanmay Bhat and was later joined by Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya. Abish Mathew and Kaneez Surka. They have a YouTube channel that shows their comedy sketches and parodies on topics such as politics, society, and the Hindi film industry. Initially, the group produced podcasts, before using YouTube in 2013 as a medium to share their comedic work. They have 1.66 million subscribers and 140 million views In December 2014, AIB organized a roast show, All India Bakchod Knockout Championship featuring Karan Johar as the host with Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor as subjects of the roast. The event had raised over 40 lakh rupees for charity organizations such as Being Human and Vogue Empower, which works for women empowerment. AIB started a news comedy series called On Air with AIB on the Star Network in October 2015. It was a show that aims to find comedy in tragedy. The Royal Turds is a comedic awards ceremony that recognizes the worst of the Hindi film industry. It is presented by All India Bakchod, in collaboration with other stand-up comedians such as Abish Mathew. They will surely make it big for themselves.


2. THE VIRAL FEVER

The Viral Fever also popularly abbreviated as TVF is an online digital entertainment channel. According to Arunabh Kumar, the founder of this creative network, the idea behind the launch of the network was to reach out to the younger generation who seldom watch the television to either pass the time or for entertainment. The members are Arunabh Kumar, Amit Golani, Biswapati Sarkar Jitendra Kumar, Deepak Mishra, Nidhi Bisht, Anandeshwar Dwivedi and Vaibhav Bundhoo. The TVF Group has a total team of 70 with 11 as consultants in Mumbai and Delhi. TVF covers topics such as Indian politics, movies, lifestyle, social concepts, etc. in their videos. They have created a web series called Permanent Roommates. This series was the second most-viewed long-form web series in the world at one time. They recently aired the Season finale of the Permanent Roommates. They released their second original series known as 'TVF Pitchers' - a show focused on how engineers working in different companies quit their jobs and start a startup. They have a separate website now to host their videos called TVF Play. They are watched by millions around the globe, they received funding of $10 Million from Tiger Global.


3. EAST INDIA COMEDY

East India Comedy is a group of Indian stand-up comedians that performs comedy shows, organizes comedy workshops, corporate events and scripts movie and television shows. East India Comedy was founded by Sorabh Pant in 2012 along with other comedians. The group consists of six full-time performers and hires other comedians, cinematographers and editors as freelancers on project basis. The full time members are Sorabh Pant, Sapan Verma, Sahil Shah, Azeem Banatwalla, Azeem, Atul Khatri and Kunal Rao. The group claims to be India's busiest comedy company with a record 130 shows across the country in the calendar year 2013. They also maintain a YouTube channel that shows their comedy stints and satires on topics like politics, religion and the Indian film industry. Much of their reputation was initiated through their online presence. The group hosts the India’s version of the Golden Raspberry Awards (Razzies), the Ghanta Awards. Their videos are full of comedy and humor.
