1. 500 DAYS OF SUMMER

500 Days of Summer is a 2009 American romantic comedy-drama film directed by Marc Webb. The actors have done their part very nicely. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays as Tom Hansen, a trained architect who works as a writer at a greeting card company. Zooey Deschanel plays as Summer Finn, assistant to Tom's boss. Tom falls in love with Summer but things don't go quite according to the romantic dream he has in mind. He reflects on their 500 days together to try to figure out where their love affair went sour, and in doing so, Tom rediscovers his true passions in life. The cleverest thing about about this is its shuffled chronology. This makes the movie very interesting. It is a relief to have a film that tackles the painful side of romance, and this one has its good points.
