Rishi Kapoor who has starred with Sridevi in a number of films, on Sunday got upset with the media coverage of the actress and her death.
65-year-old actor Rishi Kapoor took to his Twitter to express his anger to the late star being referred as a 'body' by many news channels. "All the television channels reporting 'the body will be brought to Mumbai in the night.' Suddenly your individuality gets lost and becomes a mere body?" read Rishi Kapoor’s tweet showing his displeasure.
Rishi Kapoor and Sridevi have worked together in many films including the superhit film Chandni, Nagina, Gurudev, Banjaran and Kaun Sachcha Kaun Jhootha. Rishi Kapoor also blackened his profile picture on the micro-blogging website and his bio was also changed to "Sridevi RIP."
Rishi Kapoor expressed his deep condolences through a series of tweets which read, "Woken up this tragic news. Absolute shock, Sad. Heartfelt condolences to Boney and the two daughters”.
He also posted a movie still of Sridevi from Chandni and wrote, "Henceforth no more Moonlit nights, Chandni was gone forever. Alas!"
The first female superstar of Bollywood was attending a family wedding in Dubai with her husband and producer Boney Kapoor and also their younger daughter Khushi when this tragedy struck.
