Our everyday jobs have their own health hazards which we maybe unaware of or ignore conveniently. Here are 10 different professions and the risk associated with them, posing the worst health risks.

1. Dental profession

The profession of dentists, dental assistants and dental surgeons is the most risky profession as they're prone to catching infections while examining and treating malformations of teeth and gums.

2. Veterinarians

Veterinarians, veterinary assistants and technicians's job includes diagnosing and treating injured and ill animals. Because of treatment of animals and performing research and medical tests, the contaminants and disease pose serious health risk to them.

3. Water treatment plant operators

Water and waste water treatment plant and system operators are exposed to biological hazards and chemical agents present in effluents and reagents used in water processing.

4. Derrick operators

These workers work in the gas and oil field where they rig Derrick equipment and operate pumps to circulate mud through a drill hole. They face occupational hazards such as risk of falling from heights, suffer electric shock, harsh weather or strong sunlight.
