Shower is a very common thing and a part of our daily routine. Yet there are times when we make simple mistakes that can cause considerable harm.

Having hot water shower makes you feel really nice and relaxed but extremly hot water can strip your skin of moisture and make it dry and itchy and thus it should be avoided. While it is important to remove dead skin from your body, don't go overboard by using a body scrub every other day, or worse, daily. This will cause skin irritation, rashes, dryness and flakiness.

Bath products can be extremely beneficial to your skin if you use the right ones. So, make sure that you don't use harsh products that will make your skin feel dry and listless. Opt for ones which comprise natural ingredients and are gentle on the skin.

Skipping weekly hair masks is also a shower mistake that you should avoid. Even if you think you don't need it, actually you do. Brushing wet hair is the shower is also a damaging thing to do as water actually weakens your hair's bonds, making your hair way more damaging and weak. Getting in the shower for too long could be harmful for your skin as spending more than 10 minutes could strip your skin of moisture. Stroking your hair with towel to dry it is also wrong as it can make your hair weak and damaged, leading to hair breakage.
