Every living being has a right to live a healthy life. We cannot help children born with abnormalities in all the cases but there are some cases we can protect the children from abnormal organs. One of such case is Mother suffering with Rubella.

It is proved in a study that 85% of Mothers with Rubella in their first month of pregnancy is likely to give birth to a child with some organ or brain disabilities. Actually, the mother passes Congenital Rubella Syndrome to the foetus. Once the foetus is exposed to the CRS, cells of the developing eyes, ears, central nervous system, heart, brain can be damaged. The child will be prone to diseases like glaucoma, hypertension, dental abnormalities, cataract, mental retardation, enlarged liver and spleen, deaf, blindness. The child has to pay his entire life for the subtle ignorance of the parents. It is abash to say that 600 infants on an average are affected by CRS every day.

Get vaccine to Rubella and save your child from CRS otherwise both the child and parents have to suffer their entire lives. Government also should take some intiative to create awareness among people about Rubella virus and the need for vaccination.
