This quote by Benjamin Franklin, has been glued to our mind from the childhood when we used to go to school. At that time it was very necessary to get up early in the morning because we need to catch the school bus to reach the school on time and stick to the rules and regulations. It was the obligation driven by the pressure of our parents but you will not deny the fact that at that stage, we hated to wake up early and going to school.

Today, we have understood that there is no ultimate concept or technique that works best for every human being. We all have discovered the comfort zone for ourselves and we know “What suits us better”. If you are an early riser then you may be driven by some external constraint which is certainly unavoidable but if you have scratched the best schedule for you then you are ultimately on the driving seat.

Here are the reasons why you should not wake up early in the morning:

1. Weariness During The Day

Now, if you are an early riser, then you can easy relate to this, that you surely get tired along the day. You surely have become good friends with Coffee and tea as they act as a protective shield against fatigue and tiredness. You need to go to bed early at night and this restricts you to do fun loving activities after calling it a day. Just understand that you are inviting the stress monster yourself which will ruin you completely. The best remedy is to choose flexible working hours and take a good sleep.

Most of the people find it difficult to go to bed early in the evening. This is due to the fact that because of your hectic schedule and stress you have been deprived of your quality sleep. At that moment, when we are trying to sleep early, what goes on to our mind is “If I am sleeping early, I need to get up early in the morning” and due to this stress we get trapped by sleep deprivation. An “early riser” catches nothing instead of a bag full of debility. Productivity can only be boosted only when you rise in a consistent way with your sleeping requirements.


3. Irresistible Lifestyle

You need to understand that you are the master of your own will. You need to define, “What suits best for you”. If you are an early riser because of your compulsive lifestyle then it’s better to bid adieu to this kind of lifestyle as it is just bringing unwanted tension to your life. Just listen to yourself, earning at the cost of your health is totally a wastage. It does not matter what your friends, colleagues and coworkers tell you.


4. Lack of Concentration and Untoward Health Effect

Suppose, if you are getting up early for performing the tasks for the day but you are not able to concentrate on that particular work because you are feeling tired, in that case you are totally at loss. It not only disturbs the concentration but is also imposing dire consequences on your health. The mood switches are common with the early risers, at most of the times these people are in bad mood just because of the stress hormone being released by their body which can lead to depression, migraine and ultimately affecting the health.
