Remedies for season's tough- cold and cough!

~~The winter season is near and the change would surely affect your health now. Thus, it's better you keep safe or cure it eventually if it strikes you or it may prove hard on your body and mind.

Here are some remedies to deal with it:

1. Honey: Its soothing effect would surely render you fine. Take ginger juice and honey  two three times in a day for a good effect. Or mix it with a spoonful of cinnamon powder and have it for a lasting effect.

2. Tulsi: Widely used in every home for its effective therapeutic effect, it can be given with milk or green tea. It soothes one's sore throat. While tulsi juice is effective for running nose.

3. Gargles: One of the most widely accepted Grandma's advice for cough as it clears the throat of phlegm. Repeat it twice a day with lukewarm water and salt.

4. Turmeric milk: Turmeric is known for its antiseptic properties, this it treats influenza such as cough and cold effectively. Add turmeric powder to a glass of warm milk and have it every night. It provides instant relief for an aching throat and runny nose.

5. Hydration: Hydration is the key to keep all infections at bay. Follow the thumb rule of drinking eight glasses a day as drinking water at regular intervals will help fight the common cold and reduce the inflammation in the throat along with washing out the infection.
