Chocolate is the best friend to our taste buds. Whenever one looks at a melting chocolate one cannot stop drooling at it. Parents mostly prevent their kids from having chocolates due to the dental hazards. But no parent resists their kids from having chocolates if they know the benefits from chocolates, dark chocolates in fact. Here are they.

• Highly Nutritious: Chocolate contains good amount of iron, copper, fiber, magnesium, manganese, potassium, zinc, phosphorous and selenium.

• Good source for Anti-Oxidants: Cocoa and dark chocolate have a wide variety of powerful antioxidants, way more than most other foods.

• Improves blood flow and Lowers B.P: Consumption of chocolate lowers resistance to flow of blood in arteries and improves the flow. It also lowers the blood pressure but statistically in minute values.

• Protects from Cardiovascular Problems: The more you eat dark chocolate the less there is a chance for heart attacks and it’s related problems.

• Protects your skin from Sun’s damage: Studies show that the flavanols from cocoa can improve blood flow to the skin and protect it against sun-induced damage. Don’t worry eating dark chocolate never gives you pimples but protects the skin from damage.

• Improves Brain Function: Eating dark chocolate can improve your brain functioning and makes you perform well in any activities especially in exams. Go and ask your mommy a chocolate.

• Reduces the risk of Diabetes: Dark Chocolate can also reduce insulin resistance so that prevents diabetes.
