Losing Eyesight before ageing: Common in present generation

Eyes are one of the most important and exposed sense organ to be prone to maximum danger of getting damaged easily. Common people realize it's utmost need in life soon after they get affected in their eyes, either minor or major. but before hand we are pretty careless and not much bothered. Nowadays it is the season of monsoon, the weather changes frequently and our body faces problem in adapting to this change. Cough and cold is a common phenomena affecting frequently to many people but we overlook one more phenomena related to eyes which is also occurring in this changing season, that is the bulging out of eyes, corners getting blood red in colour and tears running throughout the day. Moreover if we carefully look into our society we can easily find that maximum number of young generations are wearing spectacles. Even small children are having eye problems like near-sightedness and from their tender age they get habituated of wearing thick spectacles. But if we try to remember the times of our grand father then we had never seen them or their generation wearing spectacles, specially from their young age. This means there is some kind of change in our generation and the coming generations which are more prone to eye problems.

1. Health is the greatest Wealth: Still we run for materialistic wealth

In my view there can only be one common reason and simple answer to all these observations, that is our living style. Today, as soon as a baby gets birth, he/she comes in contact with mobile phones, computers and digital devices. Instead of playing outdoor games with their friends in the fields, they prefer playing computer games, giving much stress to their eyes from very small age, which accumulates in the near future to cause weakening of eye-sight. In this era of electronics, almost everyone of all age-groups are bound to these digital devices for living. But even then they pay much less care to their health. In the path of modernization and living in a more competitive world, we have forgot all the simple living habits which kept our fore-fathers very much healthy and fit to be working for 90-100 years without getting any disease. This change in living style can be described in a sentence as living near to the nature. Our fore-fathers lived near to the nature, the soil, the plants, and were eating more green leafy vegetables, not junk foods. Thus they were also able to do much more physical work than our generation. That is why they needed no extra exercise or medicines to keep their body fit. For our generation and coming generation, we need to take care of our health specially our eyes. We must go for morning walks at least for half-an-hour, on lush green fields, where we can walk bare-footed on the grass. This is like an energy tonic for our eyes. Moreover the morning fresh air is full of oxygen and no pollution. Then the second most important thing that we can do is to wash our faces early in the morning just after we are awake. Washing face has also some rules. We don't need any face wash to do so. Just what we have to do is to keep our mouth full of water before washing our face. Then we should splash hands full of water on the face continuously for 10-15 times. This whole process should be repeated 2-3 times in the early morning. We should never forget that health is the only treasure which we have for all the life. So we should first take care of our health while running in life to sustain in this competitive world. If our own health and body do not support us in our journey of life, no other support can help us to achieve any success, no money support, no family support, nothing.
