Methods to retain moisture:
1. Drink plenty of water: Sometimes Lips get dry due to dehydration of body. So one should drink plenty of water to prevent lips getting dried because of insufficient water. It is better to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.
2. Applying humidifiers: By applying humidifiers the air that passes by lips gets humidified and cause no harm to lips. One should clean the humidifiers properly after the use or else bacteria may develop.
3. Avoid going out in harsh conditions: One should avoid going out in very cold, breezy climates which can dry up lips.
