Doctor Manoj Kumar Sharma, a pioneer of Radiation Oncology practises his medical profession in Fortis Hospital, NOIDA NCR. He is the senior consultant (Radiation Oncology) in Fortis NOIDA. Post pursuing M.B.B.S. from BJ Medical College, Gujarat his curiosity and passion towards oncology drew him to pursue M.S. in Radiation Oncology from Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute.
He has spent several years working in the field of oncology while keeping up with the latest technology and equipments being used in the treatment while completing his fellowship in Proton Therapy from New Jersey. His multi- disciplinary knowledge of cancers has made him the part of various prominent tumor boards. He has carried out extensive research in the field of Radiation Oncology. Also, Doctor Manoj has pursued AROI-ASTRO teaching courses in the year 2014 and 2015 respectively.
Dr Sharma has expertise in External Beam and Brachytherapy, Breast and Gynaecological cancers, Gastrointestinal Cancers, including HepatoBiliary, Pancreatic and Soft tissue cancers, Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy and Proton Therapy to name a few.
He has not only contributed in the sector of treating the patients but also has a keen interest in teaching his juniors the same. Has carried out 600+ workshops, have published 50+ papers and has been awarded 15 times for his exemplary performance.
