A SMALL DOSE OF VIAGRA CAN CURE COLORECTAL CANCER

Yes, you heard it right. Isn’t it interesting that now one can reduce the risks of Colorectal Cancer? According to the study and research were done on mice, it is proved that a dose of male impotence drug, Viagra can be effective in curing and reducing the risks of cancer. As per The American Cancer Society (ACS), Colorectal cancer is the third leading cause of cancer death. On the lining of the intestine, a clump of cells often called polyps are formed.

People with an APC (adenomatous polyposis coli) genetic mutation might develop hundreds of colorectal polyps, leads to cancer. But the daily dose of Viagra, a popular erectile dysfunction drug, can do wonders as it cuts the formation of cancerous polyps by 50%, published in the study published in the journal Cancer Prevention Research. But those patients who are at the high risk of colorectal cancer should go for clinical trial, said Darren Browning from the Medical College of Georgia at the Augusta University.

In the research, researchers added sildenafil(Viagra) to the drinking water of mice to cure genetic mutation developing hundreds of polyps leading to colorectal cancer. It is found that sildenafil increased the cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) which, in turn, suppressed some of the cells that were proliferating in excess in the gut and aid the natural process of abnormal cell death and elimination. It contributes to the physiological functioning of smooth muscle cells around blood vessels, pituitary cells, and retinal cells, this is how it helps both erectile dysfunction and pulmonary hypertension.

Viagra has been used for years safely in varieties of doses from premature infants with pulmonary hypertension to the elderly ones. Suppression of cell proliferation begins within the 24 hours after the first dose of Viagra.
