People who love to eat, this surely is a must place for you all to visit. Lucknow is known for arts, culture and histories. People here are known for their overwhelming nature, respecting people being their first Priority either they know a person or not. Have a look to those 10 must see places which you will like in here, also my hometown,

1. 1- BARA IMAMBARA

Bara Imambara is the main attraction of Lucknow Being the first destination point of tourists. The Bara Imambara is a large complex, which houses a mosque, courtyards, gateways and a 'Bawali' or step-well used as a summer palace. The best season to visit here is October to March. The weather is pleasant and going round the sights is much easier. The Bara Imambara is an interesting building. It is neither a mosque, nor a mausoleum, but a huge building having interesting elements within it. The construction of the halls and the use of vaults show a strong Islamic influence. The monument remains open from morning 6:00am to evening 5:00pm. It is said that the Bara Imambara is the world's largest arched room without any pillars and the Nawabs used to hold their public hearings here. It is also important to know that Imambara are actually the replicas of tombs dedicated to the Holy Prophet and his family members. Bara Imambara is also the venue for the Muslims who come here every year to celebrate the religious festival of Muharram.


2. 2 – RUMI DARWAZA

This looks so beautiful that you may not resist your temptation to climb up the stairs and have a look of the river Gomti and surrounding areas. Rumi Darwaza is called the signature building of Lucknow. It is also called Turkish Gate. Since it was made by workers from Rome, hence the name is Rumi Gate.


3. 3 – DEVA SHARIF DARGAH

Tomb of Haji Waris Ali Shah in Deva, Lucknow (India) is a symbol of universal love and brotherhood. Prayers made at the holy shrine of Syed Haji Waris Ali Shah (Deva Sharif) in Lucknow, have always been accepted and the believer is blessed with happiness and peace. Deva Mela is one of the most popular and big gatherings in the city of Barabanki (36 kms. from Lucknow) each year. Even though the Urs of Haji sahab is commemorated on 1st Safar every year, Deva mela is organized during the month of October of each year.


4. 4 - JANESHWAR MISHRA PARK

This park is the best park of Lucknow as it has several facilities available like jogging trek, boating, open gym, Highest TIRANGA Flag, and also the food counter. It’s a huge area full of greenery and water bodies which help in refreshing of minds of visitors .This place is great for picnics and winter afternoon Loungings! The location is very close to the Gomti nagar area of Lucknow. Since there are no tickets, it becomes over crowded . Janeshwar Mishra Park, is like a possessed prize for having a great time with friends, family or with ourself .The place opens every day from 5 Am to 5 Pm .


5. 5 – DR AMBEDKAR PARK

This park is a pride of Lucknow .The place is very good finished with marble and granite.it has beautiful structural buildings and statues. But in summer the place becomes hot sea of marble hence not advice to visit in day time. All you can see is the plain land with marbles and elephant statues around. The park is highly maintained as well as is a clean area to visit. It’s a public park and more formally known as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal. 6. 6 – DILKUSHA KOTHI

This place is located in the cantonment area of Lucknow. This place is a very nice and peaceful place to visit. Dilkhusa literally means " Heart's delight " and this is the place which is comprised of a grand building and surrounding gardens. U can see the lush green trees and feel the charisma of this place.


7. 7 - KUKRAIL FOREST RESERVE

Kukrail Picnic Spot in Lucknow is a nice place for holidays and for picnic. You may like to spend the whole day with your family, friends and children. Basically, it is Kukrail Reserve Forest and a Ghariyal rehabilitation Centre. The Ghariyal and Crocodile Rehabilitation Center was developed during the year 1978 and was generously funded by the Uttar Pradesh forest department. The need for conservation of crocodiles was felt owing to the fast decreasing number of Ghariyals in India at that time. This Crocodile Sanctuary and breeding centre is perhaps one of the most renowned centres in India. The other most entertaining idea is boating in the kukrail river that flowers between the natural Kukrail forest. A visit to Kukrail forests in Lucknow, takes one's mind off more routine or boring life. It is somewhat a very beautiful, most appreciated picnic spot in Lucknow. It offers you the natural beauty of lush green grass grounds in addition to a good number of swings (jhoolas) for children.
