You all must be known to this saying. This is a perfect cliché that mostly fits in every scenario. I heard it when I was too small to understand these big lines. But after you experience things in your life, you understand what life is. Life is not a roller coaster that only goes up, my friend! Life is like that roller coaster which goes up very slowly and comes down easily in a second. Obviously when it comes down, you scream, you feel insecure. But this is what life is. There is no one who doesn’t face challenges in his/her life. Problems are part of our life. Some have it worse than others. But there is nothing to complain because nothing is constant, nor the problems and neither the happiness or relief. Life is not perfect. Life is hard, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. But it is up to you what the outcome will be. Sometimes there is no solution to your problems.
However, as the saying goes, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”
You have to solve the trouble or you are making yourself into the trouble. Being able to face a trouble is a very good skill anyone can have. Lemons are sour but lemonade is sweet. “Making lemonade” is an expression of optimism. It believes that everything can be solved with a cool mind and we can finish it with a smile. The basic idea of the saying is that we need to make the best out of what we have. Even if it seems difficult, we need to try. Again, you all must have heard the saying that ‘try, try and try until you succeed. The ‘try again’ mantra is very powerful in these cases. Staying calm is the first thing anyone can do while trying to solve problems. Stressing over the problem makes the situation worst. The second thing we can do is not to react that instant. Reacting negatively, without thinking anything is a loss for us only. We say things which we don’t want to, we see things other way round. Third is accepting things, pushing away the trouble, it only makes it stronger than before. Last but not the least, be the warrior. Fight with the circumstances, until they get better. Running away is not a solution. You need to add the efforts, like you add condiments to your lemonade to make the taste better.
I read somewhere (I don’t know who said it) “I believe that if life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade... And try to find somebody whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.”
Life is complex already in itself. Why complicate it more?
“The world is not a wish-granting factory.”
So, Joie de vivre.
"Our happiness is certainly mixed in with the tragedies of life. You have to find the lemonade. You have to find the silver lining in the middle of everything that happens in life."
