WHEN I BECOME A BIG BOY..

When a boy is young we always hear him saying that when I will grow up I will be this or that. When he grows up he plans to complete his education, as he completes his education he plans about his future i.e. to get a proper 9-5 job or do the things he wants to for himself. When he gets a job he plans on about his marriage and how he will live his life to the fullest but, instead, he waits to do the things he wants till his children get settled. And then all the dreams are put on hold till his retirement.

But when he retires, he sees that his life went away in front of his eyes and all he was doing was fulfilling the responsibilities and norms of the family and society and waiting and just waiting to do the things he wanted to.

We all have a habit of making excuses and procrastinating about the things we wan to do. Sometimes we are waiting for the right time and sometimes we are just preparing ourselves for it. But those are all just excuses. Our life is not a stage rehearsal for a play or an act. There are so many things which are at stake. Time flies and all we do is complete the responsibilities and expectations. The duties of a human can never die and we are running a race that will never end.

In this hustle and bustle all we need to do is make our present better. It doesn’t mean that we should stop thinking about the future but we need to live our present happily which will automatically make our future worthwhile.

Start chanting “DO IT NOW” and see how happily you are  going to fulfill all your desires without affecting your future. In our life, the most depressing words are – I might have been, I should have, I wish I had, If only I had given a little extra etc. And that’s the time when all the efforts of our life seems meaningless.

So learn to “Never leave anything till tomorrow which you can do today”, and live the life you want to live. THINK LESS AND LIVE MORE.

“ Never leave till tomorrow which you can do today”.
