Comedy is any work which is intended to be humorous or amusing by inducing laughter, especially in television, theatre, stand-up comedy or film. Comedy as a profession is one of the most difficult professions, since you have to consider the emotions, educational levels, maturity etc. of the audience for whom the act is meant to be. Preparing a comedy script isn’t an easy task and takes a lot of work, time and experiment to come up with the perfect joke.

Comedian Abish Mathew has come up with a series called ‘Journey of a Joke’ which will help all the aspiring stand-up comedians understand how a joke is written and how to improve the comic timing. They talk you through each and every joke of a particular act, giving the viewers an idea as to how a joke should be written.
