The Former IIT Professor who once taught Raghuram Rajan is now Working For Tribals

If we talk about the present scenario, the profession of Professors is disrespected. After confronting many scams, the profession which was once considered sacred, took a new phase! But this IIT professor is helping the country change by leaps and bounds.

A degree in engineering from IIT Delhi, a Masters degree, and a PhD from Houston, an ex-IIT professor; Alok Sagar, once a resident of New Delhi, has been living for 32 years in the remote tribal villages of Madhya Pradesh, and serving the people living there.Sagar has singlehandedly planted more than 50,000 trees in Betul district. The eco-conscious citizen also spreads his message of a greener world by collecting and distributing seeds among tribals, at a reasonable rate.

After revealing a long list of qualifications, Alok also revealed about grooming numerous students including ex-RBI Minister Raghuram Rajan.“In India, people are facing so many problems, but people are busy proving their intelligence by showing their degrees rather than serving people,”  Alok said in an Interview.

Even after having a cistern of achievements, Alok likes to maintain low-profile.What makes him inspiring is his simplicity and the idea behind uplifting the downtrodden. All it takes is us! Yes a single man can bring the change.

Kudos to you Sir!
