Spiritual quotes from the Bhagavad Gita which is all you need after a stressful day

When dilemma arises and confusion strikes we look for a solution. Sometimes it is hard to find, and sometimes easy. For the hard part, we tend to look people or the internet or sometimes book to know what we want to know. That’s what Arjun did when he asked for advice from Lord Krishna at the Kurukshetra. What he got in return is a set of philosophical concepts which are relevant even today inscribed in the holy book of Bhagvad Gita.

Many would be astonished to find out how absolute right are the thoughts held inside the book. You may find it yourself by absorbing these lessons told in the Gita which are all you need to have a great day, week, year or even your lifetime!

1. Whatever happened, happened for the good. Whatever is happening is happening for the good. What will happen, will also happen for the good.

You might as well start to have a peaceful mind by clearing it first. For that you have stop pondering upon anything from the past, present or the future that disturbs you. ‘Everything happens for a reason’ and the reason is never to make you feel stressful but there’s a reason exclusively for you that’s why you’re going through the phase or have been there.

2. You have the right to work, but never to the fruit of work.

One of the biggest mistakes we do is to ‘expect’. Expect that you’ll be lavished with a new car, a house or anything else. Many times what follows is pain as many times one fails in meeting those expectations. The Gita tells us to work hard, as hard as one can but to never expect the fruit to be big or small, but leave that to the higher powers to decide.

3. Change is the law of the universe. You can be a millionaire or a pauper in an instant.

Changes occur, people come, people go, likewise, wealth comes and it goes. Nothing is stagnant everything changes and making yourself coherent to changes helps your defenses as you excel in adapting, which is a very important characteristic everyone must be wary of.

4. You came empty handed, and you will leave empty handed.

The lesson here is that one must not get attached to anything so much because you won’t be taking that to the grave. We came in this stark naked, had nothing and that’s how we’ll go. So, there’s nothing worth dying for as things dissolve into nothingness as soon as one dies.

5. Lust, anger and greed are the three gates to self-destructive hell.

I hope that is something you know already. These three sinful characteristics will destroy you from the inside and wouldn’t even know.

6. A person can rise through the efforts of his own mind; or draw himself down, in the same manner. Because a person is a friend or a foe to himself.

Blaming someone else for the decisions you’ve made would never help you grow, because no matter what you are the one responsible for those decisions. Understand yourself and most of all believe in yourself, as you are the only one who knows what’s the best to be done.
