With the rapid development in technology and speed upgrades of hardware and software of mobile phones, people want to replace their mobile phones frequently. Mostly they prefer to exchange the old one with the advanced one or they sell their old one to get a new one. In their excitement of getting a new one most of them ignore erasing their private data from the phone’s memory and a few of the sensuous people erase the data by using factory reset option.

 ENCRYPTION: We should encrypt all our data in the mobile using encryption option in the security option which in turn will be in settings of the phone. Encryption provides you with a PIN whenever you want to unlock your mobile, emails and when one needs to access your memory etc.

 FACTORY RESET: After encrypting the data you can proceed to factory reset which will be in settings of your mobile. Even after doing this there can be some possibility to restore the data with some advanced techniques as this process only empties the mobile but the data will be rested in the memory. So this requires the third step.

 FAKE DATA: You are supposed to fill your memory with the fake data and then reset the factory again so that the memory will be overwritten with the fake data so that even someone tries to backup the data they end up in backuping the fake data. Fake data in the sense filling memory with songs, videos that are not personal.
