Not able to acheive your goals in work/business? Follow these tricks to cope up.

Having trouble getting the most out of your work? Are you having trouble achieving your desired goals? A lot of our time is spent on talk. We talk about our goals and how to manage or set them. But when time after time you don't reach your goals then what do you do?

Most of the time we don't achieve our goals. If there was a shortcut or a secret recipe to achieving our goals faster then it would have made our lives far more comfortable. But sadly that's not the way how the world works. The famous basketball player Michael Jordan has to say something beautiful about what to do when you are not able to achieve your goals: “I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career, I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over again in my life. And this is why I succeed.”

There are lots of motivation you would find from such great personalities. It's ok if you don't succeed after trying many times. Just keep trying and try to find out the reason.

Finding out the reason

Most goals are not accomplished because there are some factors which are inherent. The first category is the factor which you can control and the other category is the one which you have no power or control over. Figure out the reason why you are not able to accomplish your goal and the factors which are beyond your control over achieving it. Remember every time it doesn't work out the next time might work. So keep on the track.

Do you give up on your goal too easily?

After you've figured out the reasons behind why you haven't accomplished your goals the next thing is to ask yourself some questions.

1.Do you still want to accomplish this goal?

2. Does the goal need some changes to be made?

3. What will happen when you fail to accomplish your goal again?

Sometimes the answer might be “No, the goal doesn't matter to me anymore”. This is absolutely normal and acceptable. Changes occur all the time and we must adapt to it from time to time. But to abandon a goal takes a lot of willpower. You need to have the patience to let it go. But if the goal is still worth pursuing then you need to take into consideration the reasons which led to failure in your accomplishment of the goal. You need to come again and this may mean starting from the beginning. But with failure there is always something new to learn and with this lesson you can achieve your goals the next time for sure.
