Today, as we are reaching heights of development and growing at a fast pace, there are some sections of the society who are still not privileged enough to have all the luxuries which we acquire. We are living a very posh lifestyle without even having an idea that there are so many helpless and needy around us who don’t even have a bread to fill their stomach.
This sounds really bad that today, when we are so highly educated and equipped, we still don’t have an idea about how poor our country is and how worse are the conditions here. About 70% of India’s population are deprived of the basic needs which a man needs to grow like food, shelter, education etc. This is a matter of concern if we want to see ourselves developing in real terms.
The need of the hour are the NGO’s in our country who can realize this problem and take a step towards it. There is a great need to create general awareness among masses and spread the message of sharing and helping so that we can provide those who are downtrodden a better standard of living. The existing NGO’s must be encouraged by our government and provided with proper funds required to uplift these people. Youngsters too can take an initiative to help make the society a better place and work for a good cause.
We are for this country and almost all of us spend our entire lives here till we die, but more importantly we are here for humanity. So its high time to get out of our comfort zones and provide some relief to these poor ones who don’t even know what a peaceful, complete life is.
