KEY TO HAPPINESS

What is a Happy Life? A happy life is just a series or a string of happy moments and happy days, the more happy moments we live, the happier our life is. Are you truly happy? Do you even know what it means to be happy and what it takes to achieve happiness? These are important questions for anyone who is seeking happiness to ask themselves. If you want to be happy you need to understand that you can be happy and that you should be happy. Many people make the mistake of believing that they don’t deserve happiness and accept their unhappy state as their destiny. The truth of the matter is that happiness, like anything else in life, needs to be nurtured. Happiness is hard to define but most people are aware of whether they are happy or not. Many people believe that happiness is a form of luck and that some people are destined to be happy while others are destined to be unhappy. 
The tips in this article are small but meaningful steps that you can take each day to lead you to true happiness.

1. WE ARE THE IN-CHARGE OF OUR HAPPINESS.

We shouldn’t put our happiness in others hand, they’ll drop it, they’ll drop it every time. We need to become the master of both our mind and body. Our life is full of habits. It is very important to recognize and acknowledge our own worth and believe we can create our own life. We should love and respect ourselves. We also need to free our minds from all the negative things and thoughts. There is nothing negative on earth, only your thinking makes things that way. We must never compare ourselves with other people because we are exceptional and unique and this uniqueness is something that we need to explore. It is very important to recognize and acknowledge our own worth. We should stop blaming other people for everything that happens.


2. HAVE THE RIGHT ATTITUDES!

If you have thought to be happy, then you must be thinking how we can be happy every time? We have to change our attitude. We have to change our way to see the problems. I’m not saying changing attitude will make your life 'problem free' but it will give you the power to think and then react. Our state of mind should be stable enough to understand things. Worrying doesn’t stop the bad things from happening but it stops us to enjoy the good things. For succeeding in your life we have to change our attitude and outlook to see things. In the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean” of Johnny Deep you might remember the following quote, which says it all: “The problem is not the problem; the problem is your attitude about the problem.” -Captain Jack Sparrow


3. HAVE A POSITIVE MINDSET.

Happiness is a state of mind, created by good and positive emotions so if we have to be happy we need to create a positive mindset. Having a positive mind doesn’t mean that we don’t have any negative feelings but it means not to dwell in those feelings. For a positive mindset we need to change our thoughts. Start following these simple suggestions they can have a strong positive impact in our life.Eat well, we are what we eat. Sleep the right amount of time. Do some daily physical activity, 20 minutes of walking. Get rid off some bad habits that can abuse our body (smoking, drinking, bad addictions). Another important way to be happy is to dedicate some time during the day to ourselves, to do something that we really like, could be anything but must be our time.


4. APPRECIATE SIMPLE THINGS.

We live in a modern capitalist society that makes us give importance to materialistic things to be happy so we keep buying not because we really need it but just to feel good. We keep buying new stuff and more stuff and more stuff, but we are not really happy and probably we end up not even appreciating what we have. And if we can’t afford to buy a new stuff, its fine. Pleasure is temporary happiness lasts. There are a lot of simple and free things that if appreciated can make us happy: a smile from a stranger, a hug from someone we care about, the sounds of the birds singing , sleeping in mother’s lap, meeting friends , doing something we love , greetings from our family and so on. The reason why we don’t normally pay attention to these simple things is that we don’t notice them. Basically, we do not live in the present and therefore always think about our past and future. We should also start appreciating the beauty of nature, it can even help us to gain awareness and connection to our surrounding world.


5. HAVE A PURPOSE IN LIFE.

I personally think that having a purpose gives us an entirely new vision in life. There are two ways to live our life, the first, which is the one chosen by most people, is to live a life without a purpose, the second is to define your purpose and live by it. Benefits of having a purpose in life -Makes you feel more fulfilled. It creates your daily life with enthusiasm and joy.It gives you direction and focus.It helps you understand what is unimportant for you in life and it frees you from things that don’t matter.It helps you to gain your success. We all want to be successful in life but we all have a different meaning of success. There are people that want be rich, famous, important or have a nice job, a nice family. But at the end we all want to be happy. Yes, the main reason why we want to achieve our success is because it makes us happy.
