It's my fault that my parents tried to kill me when I was born. It's my fault that's my parents love my brother more than me. It's my fault that that I was not allowed to go to school. It's my fault that I was not allowed to go outside the home. It's my fault that I cannot go alone outside. It's my fault that he tried to rape me. It's my fault that he hit me. It's my fault that my in-laws tried to burn me for dowry. It's my fault that he threw acid on me. It's my fault that they eve tease me in college. It's my fault that I slapped him when he touched me without my permission. It's my fault that my boss tried to take advantage of me. It's my fault that society sees me weak and inferior to men. You see, IT'S ALL MY FAULT.

Do you know what's really my fault? My fault is that I didn't raise my voice against you. My fault is that I suffered through all the pain in silence and didn't say a word. My fault is that I accepted the discrimination of the society without questioning it. Above all, IT'S MY FAULT THAT I AM A GIRL.
