Life is unexpected and can throw a challenge at any point. However there are some who prove they’re made of metal, and pursue their goal relentlessly to reach where they set out for.
Sarah Brown is one classic example of this. Sarah Brown, 28, had been a favorite to make the U.S. Olympic running team for 2016 in the 800 and 1500 meter races. She was having her best ever competitive year this season. She had become a favorite to qualify for the U.S. Rio Olympic running team. However, last summer she began struggling out on the track. An expected pregnancy last year became a road-block in achieving her dreams, but Sarah didn’t give up.
Her body started changing and with that, her work out sessions had to change too.
After consulting her doctor and her coach who happens to be her husband too, they redesigned her training schedule and changed few of her running session to elliptigo bike. She overcame hormone battles, weariness, and criticisms as well as took care of the baby that was growing inside her - all at one time.
