People around the globe following Islam are commonly termed as Muslims around the globe. They break their Ramadan month after long fast  after the sunsets in the evening with sweet feast. People in the month of Ramadan remain in their fast and offer worships remembering the greatness of almighty God 'Allah'. 

On this day, Muslims following Islam wake up before the sunrise and offer their communal prayers, listen to Khutba and greet each other in Arabic word "Eid Mubarak" which means "Eid be Blessed".

According to the preachings of Islam, Prophet Mohammad was blessed by a Angel named Gabriel with the extreme divine knowledge of Islam. Therefore, Eid-Ul-Fitr is celebrated all around the globe by the people following Islam to mark the almighty God Allah's blessings to be bestowed over Prophet Mohammad. And also the historic tradition of Islam also tells us that the 'Eid' was firstly celebrated at Madina after Mohammad moved there from Mecca. On reaching Medina, Mohammad informed his followers of two auspicious days of Islam i.e., Eid-Ul-Fitr and Eid-Al-Adha to worship the almighty and remember his greatness.
