DOES WORLD PEACE DAY STILL HOLDS SOME MEANING FOR IT.

Today is the International Day Of Peace or World Peace Day. The significance of this day is first marked in the world calendar in 1982 whereas the resolution of celebrating this day is passed in 1981 by the United Nations. Every year on the occasion of this day there releases a slogan regarding to the peace.

The main goal of celebrating this day is to acquire peace and non-violence between different countries. Even though every year we celebrate this day by conducting some events on peace, the very purpose of no wars and non-violence is not at all fulfilled. We have seen a couple of non-violent activities in the last week itself ,one is New York attack and the other is Uri attack. Whatever may be the reason the non-violence is not the good path to choose. Everyone should follow the non-violent path of Mahatma Gandhi so that there establishes an international peace. But the present scenario is quite opposite there are so many disputes between different countries which is likely to end up in a Third World War. The different disputes like the one between China and U.S.A , the one between India and Pakistan etc are indicating that.

Nothing can be achieved with wars and non-violence except the destruction. There will not be winners and losers in the war both has to pay off with property and lives. If the entire world really practice peace as per the World Peace Day then there won’t be any requirement of army and all.
