1.Vicky Cristina Barcelona: Good movie or not but simply bow down the epically beautiful locations and script as if it was straight written while on a tour. But midway the thing to notice is how Cristina’s character (played by Scarlet Johanson) starts of on a not so happy note but ultimately discovers a new style of life in the attitude of Juan a Spanish painter.
2 . The Great Beauty: Set in modern Rome and the lavish lifestyles of the Italian ways, which despite of being beautiful and lucrative in all senses doesn’t appeal to an ageing writer who engages in a narrative to pursue the so called great beauty or the essence of life. Another reason why it is a good movie is because it is directed by an Italian who points out the negative elements about Italy which no one apart from him has the right to point out to.
3.The Wolf of Wall Street: Ultimate moral being that money and success and luxury are not the motives of a great life. They are rather depressing and bound to stick to your forehead till your grave. Who else apart from Martin Scorsese could have let it out in a screen play that straight away begins from the dream life that everyone imagines but slowly brings out the consequences that everyone does not imagine.
4.The motorcycle Diaries: Everyone knows his face but a few know who he is and a further few know about his life and what elements constitute his character. Che Guevarras Motorcyle ride and his quest for true life can only be found by living it in reality and not some a fictions novel or movie. Let’s not waste the journal and journey of one of those few men who choose to follow their gut and in return changed the world.
5. Zindagi Milegi Na Doobara: When exposed to totally different atmosphere a change is about to happen whether you are a serious success hungry workaholic to stubborn to let go or you are fun loving carefree person who arranges the journey. Traveling is a part of lifestyle and what good is it if doesn’t teach you anything new. Although everything is good about this movie which most of you might have already seen (shame if not) but the real movies starts with the introduction of Katrina's character and short bursts of beautiful poetry which will awaken some part of you on a personal level.
6.Fight Club: Although the life in here has no style but then life is a subject that varies from person to person and how to attach style to a life which is bound to throw you on the ground every time. It is in such situations that Tyler comes to the rescue and tells us the real, brutal and dark side of life and straight away shows his middle finger to all other definitions of lifestyle including the ones suggested in this list.
7.Midnight in Paris: Yet another Woody Allen movie so similar styles but this time a very intriguing and thought provoking plot about common questions and things we ask ourselves in daily life but don’t get an answer except in this movie the protagonist totally does and that too all one his own. If you are a fan of literature and art then you surely ought to watch this movie.
8.Scent of a Woman: Because it has one of the greatest actors of all time with one of the greatest performances of all time and a great student teacher relationship of all time on the greatest subject of all time: Life. May god have his mercy if you don’t fall in love with the scene where Al Pacino asks a young lady for tango and then burns the dance floor, oh and I forgot to mention, he is blind. Blind man doing tango. What more can it possible dictate about the style of life
9.Before Sunset/Before Sunrise: You have to be totally nuts to take the decision of going out with a total random stranger in a more than stranger city because it is then inevitable to fall in love over a conversation with the condition that you will never meet the person. But some very intelligent and stimulating conversations featured.
10.Narcos: Because style means loving your family, football, barbecue and lots of badassery. Pick the job you like, marry the women you love, earn unbound respect and love of your kids and then earn lots and lots of money. A lifestyle so awesome that even America got jealous and brainwashed Coloumbia to supress this otherwise peacefull and yet thriving most awesome person of the globe.
