Injuries Hit Team India Again

Team India has been hit by another injured player before the 4th test match in Mumbai. According to recent update given by team manage middle order batsman Ajinkya Rahane have been ruled out of the remaining two Tests against England after sustaining an fracture on his right index finger during the net practice session and has been replaced by Manish Pandey.

To make matter worse Mohammed Shami is also doubtful for featuring in 4th match of Test series between India and England. Medium pacer Shardul Thakur has been called as back-up for Shami who has been in top form this series.

“The BCCI medical team is closely monitoring his (Shami) progress and a decision on his participation will be taken before the start of the fourth Test match,” a BCCI release said.

Already team India is missing the services of its regular wicket keeper Wriddhiman Saha who has been rested for the match.

Although KL Rahul is fit again and available for selection but the team management has not taken a decision yet. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is believed to fill the shoe of second fast bowler in the match. Last time he played for India was in Kolkata against New Zealand in September. There he bagged 6 wicket in the match on a seaming wicket.
