Automobile Major Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country’s second largest car manufacturer and largest passenger car exporter have introduced, the new variant of its premium compact hatchback Elite i20 and i20active .
The new 1.4L Kappa petrol engine with 4-speed automatic transmission in Elite i20, thus offering a powerful & comfortable drive option. Additionally, safety reinforcement with features like 6 Airbags, Speed-sensing Auto door lock & height adjustable front seat belts.Announcing the introduction of Automatic Transmission and additional safety features, Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP – Sales & Marketing, HMIL, said “The Hyundai i20 is super performer brand in the premium compact segment. The Elite i20 has been priced between Rs 7,75,828 and Rs 9,01,812 for the automatic variant (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The i20 Active comes with a price tag starting from Rs 8,33,467 to Rs 9,71,269. “Made in India, Made for the World” as a globally successful brand, i20 is the most awarded car in the Indian automobile landscape winning as many as 34 awards since its launch. The Elite i20 has also won the prestigious Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) award in 2015.
