Well seems like some people took it to the other level, even after being an independent country, being Indian at these places serves no good for you!

1. Free Kasol Café, Kasol

Well-Known for being a chill-out zone for Indians and foreigners alike, a cafe that discriminates against people based on their passport.


2. Uno-In Hotel, Bangalore

Was Set up in Bangalore in 2012 in association with the Nippon Infrastructure company to cater to the needs of the growing corporate Japanese population in the city. It came under the scanner when several reports emerged of the hotel staff not permitting Indians to the rooftop restaurant. The hotel has now been shut down by the Greater Bangalore City corporation on charges of racial discrimination.


The reasoning behind this one is that it protects bikini-wearing foreigners from the lusty eyes of Indians! What about bikini-wearing Indians? Also are we Indians the only ones who have lust eyes???


The pristine beaches surrounded by the beautiful French and and Indian architecture make it a preferred location for both Indians and foreigners. But Indians are still not permitted to enter certain demarcated beaches in this beautiful French influenced territory of India.


Earlier mentioned in an article in Deccan Herald, this lodge (name withheld) that only caters to foreign passport holders. The lodge has been given the pseudonym "Highlands Hotel". A former Nawab's residence, the hotel only serves customers who possess a foreign passport.
