Rajasthan is largest state of India covering around 342,239 square kilometers or 10.4% of India's total area. It is located on the northwestern side of the India, where it comprises most of the wide and inhospitable Thar Desert which is also known as the "Rajasthan Desert" and "Great Indian Desert” and shares a border with the Pakistani provinces of Punjab to the northwest and Sindh to the west, along the Sutlej-Indus river valley.
It is bordered by five other Indian states: Punjab to the north; Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to the northeast; Madhya Pradesh to the southeast; and Gujarat to the southwest.

1. JAIPUR- The Pink City
JAIPUR The largest city of Rajasthan is “ JAIPUR†which is also The Capital of Rajasthan. “ JAIPUR†is also known as “ PINK CITYâ€. Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC) is Rajasthan’s biggest convention and exhibition center which is famous for organizing events such as Vastara, Jaipur Jewellery Show, Stone Mart Visitor attractions include the Hawa Mahal which is a five-story pyramidal shaped monument with 953 windows that rise 15 meters from its high base. Jal Mahal, City Palace, Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar, Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Birla Mandir, Galtaji, Govind Dev Ji Temple, Garh Ganesh Temple, Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple, Sanghi Ji Jain temple and the Jaipur Zoo.The Jantar Mantar observatory and Amer Fort are one of the World Heritage Sites. Sisodiya Rani Bagh and Kanak Vrindavan are the major parks in Jaipur. Raj Mandir is a notable cinema hall in Jaipur.

2. UDAIPUR- The City Of Lakes
UDAIPUR Also known as the "City of Lakes" or the "Kashmir of Rajasthan," is a major city. It is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana Agency. Udaipur is located in the southern part of Rajasthan state, just near to the Gujarat border. It is surrounded by the Aravali Range, which separates it from the Thar Desert. Udaipur is well connected with nearby cities and states by means of road, rail, and air transportation facilities, including Maharana Pratap Airport. Udaipur is spread across an area of 200 km2 and is the FOURTH largest city of Rajasthan. Popular languages spoken include Hindi, English, and Rajasthani (Mewari). Dubbed "the most romantic spot on the continent of India" by British administrator James Tod, Udaipur is a popular tourist destination and is known for its history, culture, scenic locations, and the Rajput-era palaces. It is popularly known as the "City of Lakes" because of its sophisticated lake system. Five of the major lakes, namely Fateh Sagar Lake, Lake Pichola, Swaroop Sagar Lake, Rangsagar and Doodh Talai Lake have been included under the restoration project of the National Lake Conservation Plan (NLCP) of the Government of India.[8] Besides lakes, Udaipur is also popular for its massive historic forts and palaces, museums, galleries, natural locations and gardens, architectural temples, as well as traditional fairs, festivals, and structures.
