Have you ever been hungry shortly after eating something like snacks and milk for breakfast? Well, this is because you are fundamentally eating a carbohydrate and sugar based food. Here are 5 foods that can make you feel like you’re running on empty, even after eating them.

1. Alcohol

Well, we all know its not a food but it’s worth a reminder that it will seriously spike your hunger.Alcohol is also known to enhance the taste buds.Alcohol contains a lot of calories, but like other liquid calories it doesn’t fill up the way food does.


2. Fast Food

We all know it tastes so good,but it will make you even more hungrier.Fast Food contains a lot of salt and sugar which can lead to dehydration and sugar spike, which is often mistaken for hunger.


3. Protein Shakes

Protein shakes have plenty of health benefits.The problem with these drinks is that they retain the sugars of the fruits.Drinking a glass of shake can cause a sudden spike in blood sugar level.Shortly after, these sugar will drop back down to balance themselves out- but that sudden drop will lead feelings of hunger.

When gum is chewed, the saliva that is produced is swallowed and sent to the stomach. The body then looks for food to follow which can make you hungrier.
