Once, candidates have completed the story writing, the next thing is the narration of the story. Story narration is one of the most important parts of this test.Actually, sometimes nobody reads your story so the thing which matters a lot is- you must narrate your story well. Remember, if you narrate your story well, then you are selected. And the only thing which you can do in the narration is – you can add your more points which you might have left at the time of writing the story.
In this the candidates are asked to sit in the semi-circle before the G.T.O based on the chest numbers provided to them. Once, you have completed the individual narration, and then it is a time for discussion of the story to arrive at the common conclusion.
So, let’s focus on the points which the candidates must keep in mind while discussing the story:-
1. Speak loudly and clearly with confidence in the narration as well as in the discussion. Always SMILE at PPDT.
2. Always use proper language & have proper eye contact but do not stare anyone sitting in the hall.
3. This is a test based on imagination. So, don’t worry if your story is completely different from others. But during narration do not completely change your story to what you have written in your answer booklet.
4.At the time of discussion, do not argue or make the discussion like a fish market. This can be negative point for you.
5.Remain cool in the discussion. Speak your points and give the chance and help weak candidates to speak.
6.Remember, discussion is not a competition but to make sure that all the candidates arrive to the common conclusion of the story.
