Trump's Move to Ban on Rapid fire guns with Bump stock.

US President Donald trump addressing at the ceremony of Medal of Valor at the White House, has directed the attorney General to propose a regulation to ban bump stocks and similar devices & that turn legal weapons into machine guns"

This move is the result of mass shooting :-

• Las Vegas incident of 1 oct 2017 in which 58 people were shot dead by the gunman  at Harvest music festival.

•The attack at a Douglas high school in Parkland, Florida, less than a week ago that left 17 students and teachers dead on Feb 15 2018. 3. The attack at a Elementary school of Connecticut in dec 14 2012, in Connecticut,U.S. when Adam Lanza aged 20 fatally shot 20 kids and 6 staff members. Prior to that he shot his mother dead. After the scene, Lanza committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. These all incidents involved the use of firearm with bump stocks.

1. What is bump stock?

A bump stock can be legally purchased and installed onto a semiautomatic firearm, such as AR-15, AK-47. Unlike automatic firearms, which fire continuously while the trigger is pulled, semiautomatic weapons fire one round per trigger pull. For each shot the shooter will be pulling the trigger, the firearm technically remains semiautomatic but with bump stocks it achieves the rate of fire as that of an automatic one.

2. A gun-free zone is: ‘Let’s go in and let’s attack, because bullets are not coming back at us'

Trump has blamed the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives under the Obama administration for designating bump stocks as legal devices in 2010. Referring to Aaron feis, a football coach and Security guard of Douglas high school in Parkland, who used his body as shield against gunfires to protect a student . The president continued: “If the coach had a firearm he would have killed the gunman . It’s called concealed carry, where a teacher would have a concealed gun on them. They will go for special training and will receive extra pay as an incentive and you would no longer have a gun-free zone. ●Donald Trump has said he will regulate the proposal to arm school teachers so that such type of mass shooting could be prevented. ●The proposal also include the gun purchase age from 18 to 21. After Trump's Tuesday announcement president and CEO of the AR-15 Gun Owners of America, Chris Waltz, told NBC News that his group understands why the president is taking these steps and believes that devices are designed to allow semi-automatic rifles to function like fully automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulation. Nelson said,"We need to get these assault rifles off our streets and expand criminal background checks for anyone acquiring a gun"
