TING TING TI- TING, TO HAVE NO MORE GOOD DAYS!

Reportedly Britannia is going through crisis for the Delhi High Court has ordered it to stop the production of its nutritive Choice Zero biscuits after it failed to compensate and satisfy the complainant company.

The decision was a response to a petition filed by rival brand ITC limited over copyright infringement.

According to the sources Britannia has been granted four weeks to blot out existing stocks and maintain accounts.

ITC and Britannia were involved in a battle over copyright, where ITC claimed that Britannia’s digestive biscuits copied the packaging layout of ITC’s Sunfeast Farmlite Digestive All Good biscuit.

After ITC filed a case, Britannia agreed to differentiate its packaging from that of ITC and no longer keep that same blue and yellow coloured packaging. However, later Britannia negated the allegations and sought to file a counter suite on ITC  for using same style of packaging for its products.
