Google Home And Home Mini Launched In India.

The latest buzz that has created a lot of anticipation among gadget freaks is the Google Home. The Google Home was launched today in India, priced at Rs 9,999 while the Google Home Mini sports a price tag of Rs 4,499. Google’s smart speakers will be exclusively available on the website Flipkart, starting today. The smart speakers which are AI-enabled will take directly on Amazon’s Echo range of smart speakers.

Google has officially unveiled its smart speakers in India at an event today. The smart speaker will be available exclusively on Flipkart. Google Home costs Rs 9,999 while the Google Home Mini is priced at Rs 4,499. The Google Home weighs around  477 grams and also comes with a power adapter. The speaker measures about 96.4 mm in diameter and stands at a height of 142.8 mm. Although the speaker comes in white colour, the base fabric can be changed to different colours. The standard base is slate fabric and supports iOS 9.1 and higher and Android 5.0 and higher operating systems.
The Google Home as the name suggests is a voice-enabled speaker and depends completely on the Google Assistant. You just have to say “Hey Google” or “Ok Google” in order to give a command and your Smart Assistant springs into action.
You always need to plug in the Google Home into a power socket because there is no option to run it without a cable and a Wi-Fi connectivity is a must to run the smart Google Home. Google Home will also allow you to play music from sources including Google Play and many third-party apps, example, Gaana. All you need to do is say is, “Hey Google, play some Arijit Singh” and the speaker will play songs by the singer.
Google Home will work effortlessly to make your home smarter if you have smart lights. So if  you have Philips Smart bulb, just say “Google, switch on the light” and guess what ? It will. All you will need is the Google Home app and then you can connect your smart devices with it.

Google Home tells you about traffic situation. It tells you the weather of your current location as well as other cities. Just ask “Hey Google, how will be my day”, and it will tell you the day’s weather also.
