Built by the Vivekananda Rock Memorial Committee in 1892 to felicitate Swami Vivekananda’s visit to the place, this attraction is split into two parts: a meditation hall dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, and the Holy Foot – a giant foot carved out of rock that is believed to be the footprint of Goddess Kumari.

3. Padmanabhapuram Palace

This compelling structure has a number of must-see sections including the king’s chamber, performance hall, and palace complex.
