Communication for a Better Relationship

Every relationship is beautiful in its own way but needless to say, every relation faces some ups and downs. Parents and children, siblings, friends and the better half, in all of these relationships, there are problems and hard times. But many times, some of these relations were destroyed due to these problems and the lack of a proper communication.

No human is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. Due to these mistakes, many times, an issue arises in a relationship. The only way to solve these problem and issues are to talk and communicate, giving each other a chance to explain himself/herself for what he or she did or what happened. Many times the mistakes were not intentional but due to a bad situation or a wrong scenario or maybe just a miss interpretation of the situation. Sometimes the issues were made on such small things that they are not even worth noticing but those small things can ruin a relationship forever, destroying many lives at once. So to avoid such ruining and sort out the problems is to communicate. Communication is the best way to maintain a long term relationship.

The best way to maintain a relationship is to give time to others. Do what you love like going for a family outing, chatting with friends, or to take your loved one for a movie. If you will give time to each other, then automatically you will start communicating to each other and when that starts happening, you will see that the space and the void filling and the relationship is getting stronger. Communication is not only the solution but it is also a friend to maintain a healthy relationship.  It is not that only when you will have problems, then you will talk. Try to spend more time with each other and don’t be shy to talk. The greatest problems are faced by teenagers because they feel that they cannot talk to their parents like they talk to their friends. Maybe it is true and you cannot use the same approach as you do to talk to your friends but then, it does not mean that you cannot talk to your parents. Choose one of your parent to whom you are close and have calm and sensible approach to talk about the problems. And the one to whom you talk less, try to find some topics to talk on so that you both can fill the void between you. The more you communicate the better relation you will have.
