World has lost a Legend Renowned physicist Professor Stephen Hawking.

Stephen Hawking, a theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research Centre within University of Cambridge, has died at the age of 76, said the spokesperson on early Wednesday March 14. He died peacefully at his home in Cambridge reported family members.He suffered from a rare neurological disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, which kept him bound to a wheelchair.

Stephen Hawking said 'We have this one life to appreciate the grand design of the universe, and for that, I am extremely grateful.'

He did his BA from Oxford University and PhD from Trinity Hall, Cambridge.His scientific works include gravitational singularity theorems in the general relativity and the predictions black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation, was first to explain the theory of cosmology. Hawking was ranked number 25 in the BBC's poll of the 100 Greatest Britons. In the late 1970s, Hawking was elected Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, the chair once held by Isaac Newton. He also published his own articles on black holes and the Big Bang.The books authored by him, 'The Universe in a Nutshell' in 2001, 'A Briefer History of Time' in 2005 and 'Space-time in the Large' Hawking also created Stephen Hawking: Expedition New Earth, a documentary on space colonisation, as a 2017 episode of Tomorrow' World. In July 2017, Hawking was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Imperial College London. Once Hawking was asked about the best fatherly advice he had given. Here are the most important pieces of advice that I have passed on to my children,he said. "One, remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Two, never give up work. Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it. Three, if you are lucky enough to find love, remember is it rare and don't throw it away".

"We are deeply saddened that our beloved father passed away today. He was a great scientist and an extraordinary man whose work and legacy will live on for many years", the family said in a statement.
