TIME FOR SOME CHARCHA ON ‘PAKODAS’ AND ‘CHAI’ WITH THE PRIME MINISTER

A group of students wearing convocation robes were witnessed selling pakodas to people in Karnataka’s Bengaluru ahead of the Prime Minister’s rally.

Getting upset with the PM’s ‘pakoda’ remark  the angered students came on the streets to protest near the Mehkri Circle where Prime Minister Modi was scheduled to address a rally.

In an interview recently to a news channel the PM had said that a person selling pakoda outside and earning Rs 200  should also be considered as ‘employed’. The Prime Minister was responding to the question on lack of creation of jobs in the last 4 years.

The students were later detained by the police.
