Really, Technology is mesmerizing everyone. In this era of digitization “The Next Big Thing” in the techno-space is surely going to be a life changing product. Now, coming to this techno-giant which is disrupting the techno-space with a whooping valuation of $527 billion. Yes, it’s none other than “Google”. 

Today, while interacting with the students of IIT Kharagpur, Google CEO Sundar Pichai has talked about a very beautiful gift to India. Yes, you heard that right, Google will be working on a Rs.2000 Android smartphone exclusively for India. 

Digital India Campaign is in the acceleration process these days and supporting that move, Google is actually creating some new and cheap mobile phones for the rural areas in India. Pichai also said that he is confident that India will be a global player in terms of digital economies. The move to tap the untapped rural market in India might be inspired by “Android One Program” which was launched by Google in the year 2014 in collaboration with Micromax, Spice and Karbonn to launch inexpensive products in the country.


Earlier, Google has unveiled its Made-For-India Digital Unlocked Program to transform offline businesses to online businesses smoothly and efficiently. The move is surely going to boost the Indian businesses and will make the country move towards a Cashless Economy.
